The Sole Authority of the King James Bible

… and the Corruptions in the Modern Versions

By Sam Adams, Pastor

The prophet Jeremiah said it best: “Ye have perverted the words of the living God” (Jeremiah 23:36). From the beginning of creation Satan has attacked the authority of God‘s Word with the diabolical question, “Yea, hath God said?” (Gen. 3:1-5). Over the last century he has done so through the publication of a plethora of new “bible” versions which are in fact not “versions” but perversions of the Word of God, in that they blatantly attack the person, deity and atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ and pervert the true Gospel of Christ among many other heresies. These corrupted “bibles,” which adopt as their background text an intentionally corrupted Greek text which contains thousands of deletions and substitutions from the original inspired text, include the NIV (New International Version), NASV (New American Standard Version), CEV (Contemporary English Version), the ISV (Chuck Missler’s International Standard Version), the ESV (English Standard Version) and even the NKJV (New King James Version), among virtually every other modern translation in print.  When one compares these texts it becomes clear that for the English-speaking people of the world, God has preserved His infallible and inerrant Word only in the Authorized King James Bible. lf you doubt the truth of this statement, consider the following quote from Dr. Frank Logsdon, the theologian and Bible scholar who assisted in the development of  the New American Standard Version (NASV):

l must under God renounce every attachment to the New American Standard Version. I’m afraid I’m in trouble with the Lord... We laid the groundwork; I wrote the format; I helped interview some of the translators; I wrote the preface.  I’m in trouble; I can’t refute these arguments; its wrong, frighteningly wrong, and what am I going to do about it.

“When questions began to reach me at first I was quite offended… I used to laugh with others. However; in attempting to answer, I began to sense that something was not right with the New American Standard Version. I can no longer ignore these criticisms I am hearing and I can’t refute them…the deletions are absolutely frightening… there are so many… Are we so naive that we do not suspect Satanic deception in all of this?

“Upon investigation, I wrote my very dear friend, Mr. Lockman, explaining that I was forced to renounce all attachment to the NASV. The product is grievous to my heart and helps to complicate matters in these already troublous times… I don’t want anything to do with it. The finest leaders we have today… haven’t gone into it [(corrupted Greek text)] just as I hadn’t gone into it… that’s how easily one can be deceived”. …“[Y]ou can say the Authorized Version [KJB] is absolutely correct. How correct? 100% correct!… I believe the Spirit of God led the translators of the Authorized Version. If you must stand against everyone else, stand.”  [Reference] [Reference]

The critical difference between the Authorized King James Bible (KJB) and the modern perversions is in the Greek text from which the New Testament was translated. The KJB was translated from the Received Text or Textus Receptus (TR), which was compiled and printed in Greek by Erasmus in 1516 from the majority of Greek texts available, hence the alternate term Majority Text. The reliability of this text is based on the premise that as New Testament manuscripts were copied by hand and spread throughout Asia Minor and Europe from the 1st Century AD, the majority of copies would be reliable and errors would only occur in very few of the copies. Where the KJB differs from the modern perversions, the KJB’s readings are confirmed by thousands of scriptural quotes from the writings of early Church leaders such as Tertullian, Hippolytus, Irenaeus and Justin Martyr, dating back to the 1st century and the early church at Antioch. As God promised to preserve His word (Ps. 12:6-7, ls. 40:8, Matt. 24:35, 1 Pet 1:25), He has done so through the TR (KJB) text.

Conversely, the Satanic assault on the New Testament scriptures began even as they were being written in the 1st century (see 2 Cor. 2:17: “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God”, and 2 Pet. 3:16: “which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction”). The modern revisionist versions were translated from the product of that assault, that being a corrupted Greek text (Westcott-Hort Text) fabricated in the 1850’s by two English spiritualists named B.F. Westcott and F.J. Hort, neither of whom were true believers in Christ. Westcott denied the deity and substitutionary atonement of Christ, and reportedly dabbled in the occult. Both men denied the inerrancy and literal interpretation of scripture. Both preferred Catholic doctrine and thus may well have had ties to the Jesuits; Hort called evangelical doctrine “perverted” and wrote to Westcott: “Protestantism is only parenthetical and temporary.” Hort praised Darwin‘s theory of evolution in writing and denied that Eden ever existed. Westcott wrote, “No one now, I suppose, holds that the first three chapters of Genesis give a literal history; I could never understand how anyone reading them with open eyes could think they did.” [“If the Foundations be Destroyed” by Chick Salliby; Word and Prayer Ministries, PO Box 361, Fiskdale, MA (p. 80)]

In compiling their Greek text Westcott and Hort followed obscure, corrupted manuscripts derived from the Alexandrian school of a 3rd century Gnostic heretic named Origen (185-254 AD), who was known for seeing the scriptures as allegory, denied the authority of the Apostle Paul’s writings and thus fathered the modern textual criticism movement, and who deliberately changed the scriptures to suit his own twisted pagan doctrines (strange blend of Gnosticism, Platonism & Mysticism). Origen‘s work resulted in the Codex Sinaiticus (a manuscript discovered in 1844 in a Mt. Sinai monastery) and Codex Vaticanus texts later adopted by Westcott & Hort, which delete and substitute key words from the Majority Text in thousands of doctrinally critical places. Footnotes in the modern “versions” deceptively refer to these as the “oldest and most reliable” manuscripts. The result of this assault is a group of modern perversions of the Word of God (NIV, NASV, Living Bible, New World (Watchtower/JW), ESV, CEV, ISV, etc.), all of which follow the Westcott-Hort text and make the same heretical deletions and substitutions. One of many dangers of these new watered-down versions is that they can be easily twisted and misinterpreted where the KJB cannot, and they can be used to support and teach false doctrines of demons. A trained and discipled Christian may read his understanding of orthodox theology into the modern versions’ revised passages, but so can heretics and New-Agers do the same with their demonic doctrines, including equating the Lord Jesus with Lucifer. Even the New King James Version (NKJ), which generally follows the TR (KJB) text, makes many of the same corruptions the other perversions make, and where it doesn’t do so it points out with footnotes most deviations from the Westcott-Hort (NIV etc.) text, which in itself causes great confusion and casts doubt on the authority and reliability of Scripture, repeating the old lie of the devil, “Yea, hath God said?”

The following sampling of some of the more crucial KJB texts that are corrupted in the new versions should be enough to convince any skeptic that the new versions do NOT present the inspired word of God, cannot be accepted as authoritative, and should not be used by Christians.

[NOTE: Emphasis added in bold in KJB quotes. Corruptions shown for the NAS (New American Standard) and NIV (New International) versions are almost always also made in the CEV, ESV, ISV, etc. (NKJ) indicates the corruption is made in the margin notes of the New King James version]:

ATTACKS ON THE PERSON OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND DENIAL OF HIS DEITY

1. Denial that Jesus is God

1 Timothy 3:16 – KJB:  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
NIV, NAS, ISV, (NKJ) – change “God” to “He.“  CEV: change to “Christ came as a human”

NOTE: This subtle change completely eviscerates the verse of its otherwise huge significance and clear teaching that Christ, as fully God, became incarnate in human flesh

Jude 1:4 – KJB:  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only LORD GOD, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
NIV – changes “Lord God” to “Sovereign and Lord.” NAS, ESV, CEV & ISV – changes “Lord God” to “Master and Lord.”

Jude 1:25 – KJB:  To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – add “through (or “because of”) Jesus Christ our Lord” after “God our Savior.” Shifts meaning of “God our Savior” from the Lord Jesus to God the Fath

Romans 14:10-12 – KJB:  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As l live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
NOTE: the passage clearly teaches that Christ is God!) NIV, NAS, etc. (NKJ) change “Christ” to “God” in v. 10.  This corruption also denies the truth of Jesus’ statement in John 5:22 that all judgment has been committed unto Him. See similar change at Rev. 20:12

Revelation 1:6-11 – KJB:  6  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty… 10  I was in the Spirit on the Lord‘s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia…
NOTE: Compare with Rev. 22:12-13, Isaiah 44:6 & 48:12; Jesus IS Jehovah of the Old Testament.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – change “God and His Father” in v. 6 to “His God and Father,” and delete the phrase “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last” from v. 11. JW’s say v. 8 is about God the father, not the Son.

Micah 5:2 – KJB: But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
NIV, CEV, ESV: changes “from everlasting” to “from ancient times”, denying Christ’s eternal existence

2 Thessalonians 2:2 – KJB: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of  Christ is at hand.
(This verse shows that the NT “Day of Christ” is the OT “Day of the Lord”; that Christ is the Lord of the OT.)
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV. (NKJ) — change “Christ” to “the Lord”

1 Corinthians 10:9 – KJB:  Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ)  change “Christ” to “the Lord” · another denial that Jesus is Jehovah of the Old Testament

1 Peter 3:15 – KJB:  But sanctity the Lord God in your hearts
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – change “Lord God” to “Christ as Lord”

1 Corinthians 12:3 – KJB:  Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
NKJ, NIV, NAS, CEV, ESV & ISV all change “the Lord” to “Lord.”

2. Denial of Christ’s Doctrine

The following words of Christ are deleted in the NIV/NAS/CEV/ESV/ISV (NKJ)  (words in brackets are retained)
Matt. 5:44 – “bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you…despitefully use you…”
Matt. 9:13 – “I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners”
Matt. 15:8 – “…draweth nigh unto me with their mouth…”
Matt 18:11 · “For the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost”
Matt. 19:9 – “and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.”
Matt. 20:7 – “…and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.”
Matt. 20:16 – “for many be called but few chosen”
Matt. 23:14 – “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer; therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation“
Mark 6:11 – “…Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city”
Mark 7:8 – “…as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do.”
Mark 7:16 – “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear”
Mark 8:26 – “nor tell it to any in the town”
Mark 10:21 – “[come,] take up the cross, [and follow me]”
Mark 10:24 – “[how hard is it] for them that trust in riches [to enter into the kingdom of God]”  (see V.3 ↓)
Mark 11:26 – “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses”
Mark 13:14 – “…spoken of by Daniel the prophet…”
Luke 4:4 – “…but by every word of God”
Luke 4:8 – “and said unto him. ‘Get thee behind me Satan”
Luke 9:55 – “…ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of”
Luke 9:56 – “For the Son of Man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”
John 6:47- “…[believeth] on me [hath everlasting life]”
1 John 5:13 – “…that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God”

3. Denial that Jesus is the Son of God

John 6:69 – KJB:  And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
NlV, NAS, CEV, ESV, ISV & (NKJ): change “Christ, the Son of the living God” to “Holy One of God.”
NOTE: This perversion makes Jesus equal to saints (1 Thes 3:13) and angels (Mt 25:31), denies that He is the Son of God, and also denies that He is the Christ

John 9:35 – KJB:  Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him. Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
NlV, NAS, CEV, ESV, ISV & (NKJ) all change “Son of God” to “Son of Man“

Acts 3:13, 26 – KJB:  13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate… 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
NKJ, NlV, NAS, CEV, ESV & ISV all change “Son” to “Servant” at both verses
NOTE: lf we are “no more a servant, but a son” (Gal 4:7), how much more is Jesus, the etemal Son of God, a son and not a servant?

Acts 4:27,30 – KJB:  27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed… 30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
NKJ, NIV, NAS, CEV, ESV & ISV change “holy child” to “holy servant” in both verses

Acts 8:37 – KJB: 36 and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
NKJ, NIV, NAS, CEV, ESV & ISV all either delete verse 37 altogether or show it in brackets with a margin note that it does not belong in scripture.
NOTE: This deletion also denies the apostolic (Baptist) doctrine of Believer’s Baptism, requiring that a person believe the gospel prior to being baptized, making the Bible more palatable to Catholics and Protestants, both of which practice infant baptism.

Luke 2:33 – KJB: And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him.
NlV, NAS, CEV, ESV, ISV & (NKJ) change “Joseph and his mother” either to “his father and mother” or “his parents.” This corruption denies the virgin birth of Christ, which denies Christ’s deity. Jesus could not be both the son of God and the son of Joseph (compare Matt. 1:16).
See also Luke 2:43 – all above versions make the same change to “his parents” at this verse.

Ephesians 3:14 – KJB: For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
NlV, NAS, CEV, ESV, ISV & (NKJ) – delete “of our Lord Jesus Christ”

4. Denial that Jesus is the Christ

Matthew 23:8 – KJB: But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – delete “even Christ”

Luke 4:41 – KJB:  Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – delete first word “Christ,” retain latter

John 4:42 – KJB: …for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – delete “the Christ”

Acts 2:30 – KJB: …that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – delete “according to the flesh” and change “Christ” to “one of his descendants“ NOTE: This antichrist corruption also denies that the Christ would come in the flesh; see #6 below)

Acts 19:4 – KJB: Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – delete title “Christ”

See same deletions of Jesus’ title Christ at John 6:69 (#2 above), Acts 15:11, 16:31, 20:21; Rom. 1:16, 16:20, 16:24; 1 Cor 5:4, 9:1,18; 16:22-23; 2 Cor 11:31; Gal. 3:17, 4:7;  1 Thes 3:11; 2 Thes 1:8, 12; Heb 3:1; 1 Jn 1:7; Rev 1:9 & 12:17, et. al.
NOTE: New-Agers teach that “Christ-consciousness” was attained by Jesus but can also be attained by others, and that another “Christ” is coming

5. Denial that Jesus is Lord

Luke 23:42 – KJB: And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. NIV, NAS, (NKJ) – remove the title “Lord”

1 Corinthians 15:47 – KJB: The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
NIV, NAS, (NKJ) – Remove “the Lord”

2 Corinthians 4:10 – KJB:  Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus: that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
NIV, NAS: Remove “the Lord”   See same deletion at1 John 1:3, 2 Tim. 4:1, Acts 19:10, 1 Cor. 16:22

6. Denial that Jesus was worshipped

Matthew 20:20 – KJB: Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.
NIV, NKJ change “worshipping Him” to “kneeling down” NAS changes to “bowing down”
See same change at Matt 8:2, 9:18, 15:25, Mark 5:6, & Luke 24:52
NOTE: one of Jehovah`s Witnesses’ arguments denying the deity of Christ is their claim that Jesus was not worshipped

7. Equate Jesus with Lucifer

Isaiah 14:12-15 KJB: 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – change “heII” to “the grave” in v. 15 and change Lucifer to either “Morning Star” (“bright morning star” in the CEV), or “Day Star” in v. 12
NOTE: “morning star” is an attribute ascribed only to the Lord Jesus, not Lucifer, in Rev. 22:16: “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”  Peter refers to the Lord Jesus as the “day star” in 2 Pet. 1:19.
New Agers deny that Lucifer is Satan, deny the bodily resurrection of Christ, and teach that Isaiah 14 is about Jesus, not Lucifer. Both Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that Jesus and Lucifer are brothers.

8. Denial of the Incarnation of Christ (that God became Man)

I John 4:3 – KJB: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – remove “is come in the flesh”
NOTE: John was refuting the Gnostic heresy at this verse. Because the new perversions deny that God (Christ) has come in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16, Acts 2:30), they have to revise the antichrist test! This blatant corruption alone shows that the new perversions are antichrist.

9. Accuse Jesus of Sin

Matthew 5:22 – KJB:  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment…
NIV, NAS, (NKJ): Delete “without a cause” – making it a sin to be angry; compare Matt. 21:12 & John 2:15, where Jesus drove out the moneychangers. Some use this passage in the new perversions to argue that Jesus sinned by being angry in this instance.

10. Denial of Christ’s role in Creation

Ephesians 3:9 – KJB: And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – delete “by Jesus Christ”

11. Denial of Christ’s Ascension

John 3:13 – KJB: And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he than came down from heaven even the Son of man which is in heaven.
NIV, NAS, (NKJ) – delete “which is in heaven”

John 16:16 – KJB: A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV – delete “because I go to the Father”

CORRUPTION OF THE GOSPEL

1. Change Belief to Obedience
Rom 11:32 – KJB:  For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
NKJ, NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, and ISV all change “unbelief” to “disobedience”
Hebrews 3:18 – KJB:  And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
NKJ, NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, and ISV all change “believed not” to “disobeyed”
Hebrews 4:6, 11 – KJB:  4  Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief … 11  Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
NKJ, NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, and ISV all change “unbelief” to disobedience at both verses.

2. Deny man’s need for salvation
Ephesians 4:6 – KJB: One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
NKJ, NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV -: change “in you all” to “in all” (pagan pantheism; God is all and is in all)
NOTE – If God is in all, there is no need for anyone to get saved; He is already in everyone!

3. Remove the Blood Atonement of Christ
Col. 1:14 – KJB: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – all remove “through his blood”

4. Make Salvation “Difficult”
Mark 10:24 – KJB:  And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, (NKJ): delete “for them that trust in riches”
Matt. 7:14 – NKJ & ESV change the “narrow” way to the “difficult” or the “hard” way.
2 Cor. 11:3 – KJB:  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
NIV, NAS, (NKJ) – add “and purity of devotion” after “simplicity”
Matt. 23:23; Gal. 5:22 – NIV, NAS, (NKJ) – Change “faith” to “faithfulness”

5. Change “ls saved” to “Was Saved” (secure standing in eternal salvation changed to past event of baptism or initiation):
1 Cor. 1:2, 5; 6:11 (change are washed, sanctified, & justified to were…); Eph. 2:8 (change are saved to have been saved); etc., etc. at Col. 2:10; 2:20 & 3:1, 3 (change be risen & are dead to have been raised & died); 1 Tim. 6:12 (change art called to were called); 1 Pet. 1:23 (change being born again to have been born again); etc., etc.   NOTE: this perversion changes regeneration to a mere type of initiation rite, common to all forms of Luciferian and cultic worship

6. Remove Christ from the Gospel
Rom. 1:16 – change “gospel of Christ” to “gospel”
Rom. 15:29 – change “gospel of Christ” to “Christ”
1 Cor. 9:18 – change the “gospel of Christ” to “it”
John 6:47 – delete words “on me” from “he that believeth on me hath everlasting life”

7. Teach Baptismal Regeneration (Deny Believer’s Baptism) – Acts 8:37 is either deleted or placed in brackets with a margin note that it does not belong in scripture at NKJ, NIV, NAS, CEV, ESV & ISV

DENY THE IMPORTANCE OF GOD’S WORD

Luke 4:4 – all modern (per)versions delete “by every word of God”
Heb. 4:12 – all change “powerful” to “active”
John 21:15-17, Acts 20:28, & 1 Pet 5:2 – all modern (per)versions change “feed” to “tend” or “shepherd”

IV.  DE-MASCULINIZE GOD; CHANGE “HIM” TO “THE ONE”
Luke 10:16 – KJB: He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV – change “him” to “the One”
Same change at Matt. 13:37; Luke 12:5; John 4:25, 6:46, 7:18, 12:45, 15:21; Acts 7:38, 10:42, 22:9; 1 Cor 15:28; Col. 3:10; Heb 5:7, 7:21; 1 Peter 1:15; Rev. 1:18, 2:1.
NOTE: All references are clearly masculine in the Greek. This revision sets the stage for global worship of the New Age mother Goddess, “the virgin“

DENIAL OF THE TRINITY

I John 5:6-8 – KJB:  This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.  7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
NIV, NAS, ESV, CEV, ISV (NKJ) – delete v. 7 completely and create a new v. 7 from part of v. 6 or v. 8
Acts 17:29, Rom. 1:20, Col. 2:9 – change “Godhead” to “Divine Nature” or “divine being”

REMOVE GOD’S NAME “JEHOVAH” where context demands its inclusion:

All modern (per)versions change Jehovah to “the Lord” at all vss. where it occurs in the KJB:
Exodus 6:3
 – KJB: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Psalm 83:18 – KJB: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
See same change at Gen. 22:14, Ex. 7:15; Judg. 6:24; Isaiah 12:2 & 26:4 in the NKJ, NAS, NIV ESV, CEV, & ISV. Identification of God as Jehovah is taboo to ecumenical New-Agers who want a global religion and want to say we all worship the same God.

“But the new versions are easier to read!”  [not]

Many Christians prefer the new perversions thinking they are easier to read than the King James Bible. However, the KJB actually ranks easier than the new versions in 23 out of 26 comparisons on the FIesch-Kincaid grade level indicator (5th grade reading level), and in most verses is easier for children to read. ln most passages the new versions have replaced simple one-syllable words from the KJB with more complex muIti-syllabIe words, because for the new perversions to be copyrighted ($), which the KJB is not, by copyright law the publishers had to make substantial changes in text from the KJB. For example the NAS changes “new“ to “unshrunk” (Mk 2:21); “sat” to “recline at the table” (Mt. 8:11, Lk. 5:29); “good” to well pleasing“ (Mt. 11:26, Lk. 10:21); “ready“ to “opportune” (Jn. 7:6); “much people” to “considerable numbers” (Ac. 11:24, 26); “sin” to “transgression” (Col. 2:13); “sin” to “lawlessness” (2 Thes. 2:3), etc. The NKJ changes “of” to “concerning” (Ac 25:20), “boat“ to “skiff“ (Ac 27:30), “stir” to “commotion” (Ac 19:23), etc., etc. Because of the copyright laws, the new versions can never use as simple words as the King James Bible.

Some Christians object to the KJB’s use of archaic words like “thee,” “thou,“ “thine,”’ and “ye.” However, these words were used (even after they had begun to cease from English conversational use) to convey the singularity or plurality of the person(s) addressed, which IS conveyed in the Greek and Hebrew, but which is not possible using only the common English pronouns “you” or “your.” When Jesus said to the Pharisees in John 8:44, “ye are of your father the devil” we know from the KJB that he was speaking to the entire group, not just one individual. Similarly, in the KJB the singular terms “thee” and “thou” means “you alone,” and “thine“ means “yours alone” (“for thine is the kingdom” – Matt 6:13). These distinctions from the original manuscripts are lost in the new perversions. The few problems with other archaic terms used in the KJB such as “suffer” (permit), “prevent” (precede), etc. can be easily overcome with a brief education in the definitions and usage of these terms.

God takes His Word very seriously. He has even magnified his word above his name (Psalm 138:2) and expects his children to tremble at his word (Isaiah 66:5). Despite all of Satan’s efforts to destroy it, God has preserved His word. The greatest group of Bible and language scholars ever assembled rejected the corrupt Alexandrian Text available to them, and following the traditional text which God preserved through the ages, produced the King James Bible. In light of the Satanically inspired deletions and substitutions made in the new perversions, there is no excuse for any Christian who has been presented with this information to continue using any of the new perversions of God’s holy word, which has been preserved for English speaking people only in the Authorized King James Bible.
